The latest VIDIZMO update is here! We've added new features to make your experience smoother, faster, and even better.

What's New?​

  • VIDIZMO now lets you set up your own rules to find and hide PII (Personally Identifiable Information). You can choose from word lists, patterns (regex), or patterns with context words to teach the system what PII to block. You tell VIDIZMO what’s private, and it keeps it that way. Refer article "How to Create Custom Patterns".

  • We’ve taught the VIDIZMO Vision Indexer a new trick! it can now detect street signs in your content, if it’s a sign, it’ll be spotted!

  • The VIDIZMO Indexer can now translate text in your documents and images. Different language? No problem! we’ve got translation for that! Learn more on how to use it refer "How to Generate Transcriptions and Translations using VIDIZMO Indexer".

  • You can now select an Audio Redaction Type when setting up the VIDIZMO Indexer for PII Detection and Redaction. Want to tweak it later? No problem, you can adjust it anytime in the Process Modal or Studio Space while running automatic PII redaction.

  • Redaction, meet Moderation! Now you can keep your redacted files in check before publishing. Admins can enable moderation for redacted content, giving moderators the power to approve, reject, or give a quick thumbs-up before anyone else gets a peek.

  • You can now verify your content file externally and download a digitally signed integrity report for your content files, checksums included! So you can prove your files are the real deal, no tampering, no drama

  • Redaction reports, unlocked! Get the full scoop on what’s been redacted. Download a handy CSV showing objects, confidence score, and where they appear (time codes or pages).Your redaction summary, served up smart.

Enhancement​

  • Document Redaction in studio space just got a glow-up. It’s smoother, smarter, and way better than ever.

  • Before you leave a portal, you’ll now get a friendly “Are you sure?” prompt. Just type the portal name to confirm, no accidental goodbyes this time.

  • VIDIZMO now supports OPUS audio format playback! Enjoy smoother, high-quality audio directly in your media.

  • Category counts used to shuffle around based on your selection. Now they stay put, and we’ve added an option to retain counts regardless of what’s selected.

Bugs​

  • Workflows were getting a little chaotic during detection and redaction! throwing exceptions and breaking the flow. We’ve put things back in order, and everything’s running smooth again.

  • Previously, if a content file got deleted mid-processing, the workflow just kept going like nothing happened. We’ve fixed that! now the workflow correctly stops when the content file is removed. No more ghost processing!

  • Redacted objects in images and videos sometimes showed up in the wrong orientation. All fixed! your content now stays perfectly aligned when you redact.

  • Content Library search was crawling, now it’s lightning fast! find your content in a snap.

  • The Pattern Cache wasn’t resetting when new patterns were added. We’ve fixed it! new patterns now take effect immediately without any hiccups.

  • In Studio Space, hidden keywords were still showing up in the Selections tab after a search during document redaction. Now, filters stick, hidden keywords stay hidden.

  • When running PII detection along with object detection (like Face or Person) on a document, PII items were sometimes showing up as duplicates. We’ve fixed it,now each PII is correctly shown just once.

  • Custom PII wasn’t appearing in the Auto Detection modal in Studio Space. Fixed! your custom PII now shows up correctly for detection.

  • Textual PII in transcriptions was playing hide-and-seek, you’d select it, but it wouldn’t map or get redacted. Now it behaves properly, selected PII is correctly mapped and redacted in transcriptions.

  • Handwritten text in different languages was sneaking through even when only English was selected in the indexer.Fixed! Now only the selected language gets detected.

  • Audio PII in videos was slipping through the cracks. Now it’s caught and redacted every time!

  • One sneaky video chapter was missing its thumbnail. Now every chapter has its face on display.

  • Playlists were being a little stubborn they kept showing the first video's thumbnail even when you reordered or swapped in a new first video. Now the playlist thumbnail updates correctly every time!

  • Playlist thumbnails were showing 00:00 no matter what.Fixed now the thumbnail shows the total duration of all videos in the playlist.

  • .EML and .MSG files were ghosting us, they weren’t processing even after being added as media types. Fixed! these file types now process correctly!

  • Certificates and User Analytics were syncing a little too well showing the same datetime. Fixed! Each now shows the correct timestamp!

  • Videos were popping up twice in embedded collections. Fixed! no more déjà vu, each video shows up just once!

  • The “No Results Found” message was getting a little impatient showing up before search results had even loaded. Fixed! it now only appears after the search is complete and truly finds nothing.

  • Redaction in videos was acting a bit moody objects were being redacted inconsistently.Fixed! Redaction now behaving reliable.
